It all begins with an idea. Inspiration. Fascination. Curiosity.

From the foamy edges of the waves to the deepest depths of the ocean, there is so much to explore. The octopus is a creature of ongoing fascination. Its eight arms, tentacles and fluid movement make it a very fun creature to explore. This was my first octopus sculpture. Majestic and demure perched on a rock which provides both a base and enjoyable textural contrast to the surface of the piece.
